Pratt’s Pass Camp

Emigrants crossed the Weber River upstream and camped at the this mouth of the Main Canyon. Later they turned southwest, ascending the canyon to avoid the nearly impassible Weber River. This landmark is part of Morgan County’s Self-Guided Auto Tour.

Find unmatched mountain beauty while enjoying skiing, riding, hiking, and biking adventurers across one of three distinct areas: John Paul: Behold views of Mount Ogden and the entire Snowbasin ridgeline from the iconic John Paul Lodge. Tackle trails featuring steep tree skiing and experience the renowned Grizzly & Wildflower Downhill Courses from the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. Intermediate skiers and riders can savor the scenic route from Mt. Ogden Bowl Road. Needles: Access the base area and world-class groomed runs at the heart of Snowbasin. Explore a plethora of intermediate and beginner runs, plus three terrain parks. Strawberry: Boasting wide-open bowls and some of the longest runs in Utah, Strawberry is a winter playground that goes on for miles. Cross off bucket list slopes like Sister’s Bowl, Middle Bowl Cirque, and Lone Tree here. Just don’t forget to pause to soak up the panoramic views of Great Salt Lake before heading down the mountain. In the summertime, over 26 miles of trails are available for hiking, trail running, or mountain biking. On the weekends, get a lift from the Needles Gondola. Snowbasin’s summer season runs from mid-June through the end of September. The winter season runs from late November through early April.

Mountain Green Bowery and Cemetery

Resting in the serene shadow of the Wasatch Mountains, this grassy hillside cemetery stands as the peaceful burial ground for many generations, including pioneers from the 1860s. The Bowery provides generous areas for various activities and events, featuring two expansive playing fields, a camping area, an amphitheater, and a covered bowery with plenty of picnic tables.

Thurston Farms

Embark on a horse-drawn wagon ride. Led by a team of Clydesdales on this century-old farm, your travels unfold through the serene and picturesque landscape, offering a relaxing experience and a chance to see some of the wildlife that call the Valley home.
