Peep the mule deer, elk, moose, bobcats, foxes, bears, mountain lions, coyotes, porcupines, and rabbits that call Morgan Valley home. If you’re an avid birder, look out for great horned owls, grebes, mud swallows, bald and golden eagles, ospreys, and loons.

Cast your line at Morgan Valley’s blue-ribbon spots for tiger trout, whitefish, pike, brook trout, Utah sucker, catfish, bass, crawfish, small-mouth bass, Kokanee salmon, and crawfish. Or head to Thousand Mile Tree or Lost Creek, one of Utah’s few wakeless reservoirs.

Trails for all ages span East Canyon State Park, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Lost Creek State Park, and Morgan City. Determined pioneers forged many of these paths. Others are newly charted, showcasing the gorgeous views of the Wasatch Range and Salt Lake Valley.
